Emperor Project

OK: Here are the criteria for your emperor project:

1. Choose an emperor ruling during 1760.  (Remaining empires: Japan and Safavid.)

2. Create a 10-minute presentation (including Q&A) that addresses the following questions:

  • What was your (the emperor's) territory?
  • What was your source of revenue? ($$$)
  • What justified your power?  (i.e., divine right, lineage, etc.)
  • What was on your resume?  (i.e., military victories, other achievements)

3. Include a bibliography.
